Put the following in a large pot:

Cut the skin off 3-6 inches of raw ginger root and then dice or grate it and put it in the pot along with 1 whole chopped onion, carrots, squash, celery, parsley, any dark leafy greens, and a few strands of kombu (seaweed) if available.

Fill up the rest of the pot with purified water until the vegetables are covered. The last ingredient is 3-4 diced cloves of garlic: leave out for 5 minutes and then place in pot.

Simmer for 2-4 hours and refrigerate for 2-3 days. That means you will probably need to make about 2 batches for the cleanse which lasts about 5 days once you begin.

This is an amazing soup which gives the entire digestive tract, as well as the liver and gallbladder a rest and should help immediately provide pain relief and promote healing.

If you are constipated, you will not begin the cleanse immediately, but I do recommend immediately making and consuming this soup as soon as possible.
